VEGAS = My 2nd Home!

So, my roll-dawg "K" tells me "Yo, Dizzie... you ain't posted in a minute" so of course I'm going to talk about Vegas since I just got back from there and also just booked my next trip (in January for CES). I was looking back at all the events that happened while in Vegas and it just shows that I'M ALWAYS THERE! For example, I was there when 2Pac got shot, I was there when the real-life-Ocean's 11-light's-out took place at Bellagio, I was there when they blew up Boardwalk AND Stardust, I was there when Siegfried & Roy got mauled by their own tiger, I was there when that guy put all his life savings on one spin of roulette...WOW, the list goes ON!!!!! And I was just coincidentally there! Well, let me add one more: the opening day of Cosmopolitan Hotel!!

The hotel inside was chic but it reminded me of a Downtown LA building where everything's narrow and high! But who could blame them, with such little land space... the only way is to go UP! So, here you could see the picture of the 3-story bar called "Chandelier Bar" which makes everyone look like they're standing inside a huge chandelier! Pretty creative, huh?


Honestly, that's the only thing that impressed me the most. That and the condo style rooms w/ balconies and kitchenettes! Also, I REALLY liked the roulette tables (video roulette AND the table roulette)... I'm not a roulette kinda girl (but I will throw some money down on it once in awhile - and hit! - but it's just not that exciting for me, probably because it doesn't require too much thinking!) Anyways, this is PERFECT for those too drunk to think at ALL! It lights up all the winning spots: odd, even, #, 1st 3rd, yadda yadda... Now, you REALLY don't have to pay attention!



Anyhoo, remember the video roulette machines that you could put your money on the numbers with a touch of the finger? And... sometimes you mean to tap on #12 but it puts it on #11 then you end up trying to move the bet and you place extra bets on #11 and then the timer runs out??? Well, say good-bye to tiny little numbers with fat pudgy fingers because Cosmo has the actual roulette board all to YOURSELF with elbow room!!! :)

A couple weeks ago, I went to the Hello Kitty 50th anniversary fair at the Santa Monica Barker Hanger! It was held only for about 10 days and I managed to go TWICE!! Lucky me~! I stood in the ridiculous lines with the little kids, parents, and everyone my age! They had exclusive things that would not be sold in stores anywhere, anytime... and it was heaven!!!!
